Water cut-off leads to schools closing today

Not sure if this was due to Anglian Water's scheduled works or not - but understand Firs and Alameda had to close early today as water supply was cut-off :cry:

Our daughter was due to run at Marston in a cross country race, which despite the school being shut was still on. About half an hour after we picked our son up, they texted us and said that the bus had broken down and so the cross country was off!!

Any scheduled water cuts, as recently notified to house holds should have been picked up by the Schools, therefore in time to let Parents know.

It wasn't scheduled for today - it's scheduled for overnight Monday 8 Feb (according to note from Anglian Water).:
